Seems okay, but a couple of nags
Written on Nov 12, 2018
Look at the picture and you see with the trigger full forward it appears to touch the rear of the laser clam-shell. Well, on mine it actually touches. Also, when screwing it together it fits really tight, but the screws in the plastic are a concern that they will wear out and the mount will not be durable. The laser is really bright, but the ESeries does not seem as robust as my other Viridian Laser, which is stellar.

Good stout mount for Strike Eagle
Written on Sep 13, 2016
Good sturdy mount for Vortex Strike Eagle. Gives plenty of offset for a good eye relief. My upper has a front sight blade, but I can see over it, but not by much when set at 1x power. At 3x and above, the front blade site is not an issue.

Really nice and clear optic with daytime brightness
Written on Sep 13, 2016
I have to watch the spend and this is a really nice optic for the money. I was hopeful after reading the reviews and I was not disappointed. Everywhere I looked and even at walmart's site the going price is $329 - but having an 11% off total purchase code from Optics planet saved me over $40 bucks on this site and the Vortex mount.

Works great - love the longer lever

Review for
strike-industries-ar-charging-handle
The longer lever makes it easier to grab as it sticks out further from under the rear of the scope. Got this to mate up with PSA upper because it had better reviews than any I found at PSA. It arrived quickly.

Finally the laser I've been waiting for that doesn't replace my grips!
Written on Aug 07, 2016
My favorite way to carry my j-frame is with the barami hip grip combined with a Tyler-T. It's easier than any holster I tried. I always wanted to add a laser my Smith and Wesson 638 (hump-back), but they all replaced the grips, until this one. And the fact that it comes in the brighter green laser sealed the deal. In spite of the harsh reviews, it was the only laser that allowed me to carry in the how I want want to carry this revolver.
The laser came and I took my time and carefully followed the instruction. It took twice for me to get everything lined up. The laser fits the model 638 very well. The activation switches are in just the right spot and work well. The laser is brighter that a CT red, but not as bright as a Viridian green laser. I've had this laser installed for 6 months with zero issues.
I see in the description where they have discontinued these lasers. I'm sure glad I got one and didn't wait. I can't speak for all j-frame, but for the model 638, it works great!

Best accessory for your TCP
Written on Feb 29, 2016
Purchased a TCP at a really good price with anticipation of giving it to my daughter in a few years. It's a fine little pistol, but the fixed iron sights are only good in well lit scenarios. A carry gun needs to be 24/7 and this is the best laser available. There is no thinking about where/how to turn it on. You grasp the pistol and you're ready to put the dot on the bady. I have added this laser and a Talon grip wrap and it feels and functions great. Throw in an ankle holster and this is the most comfortable pistol to carry I've seen.
