A little too flush
Written on Jan 27, 2017
Bought the skeet choke for shooting clays with a browning citori, 2016. They seem to work well, and about 4 extra clays for a round from improved cylinder for me. I have not shot patterns. The chokes mounted deeper than the end of the barrel, ~2mm. The browning choke wrench does not fit. A wrench I received from an additional Carlson's choke caught the end of the barrel and would not seat in the choke tube when the choke tube recessed into the barrel. It was difficult to assure they were fully screwed in. I called Carlsons and they recommended using a flashlight to assure the chokes were fully down, which I did. I will likely buy an additional universal choke tube wrench in the near future. That is a little bit much to go through to change choke tubes. I would say they serve the purpose and I am unaware of shot patterning, so I still recommend the product with the above caveats.

comfortable and secure grip with a small-medium hand. This not a soft tacky rubber, but one can put a thumbnail into it. Textured grip remains secure when wet. I purchased the plug to close the base separately. A2 Pistol Grip Plug. It does not fit well out of the box and I may need to shave the inside of the handle to get a good fit. This plug contour does not match the handle exactly, but has no edges that should catch.
