This ammo is very good, if your using it in a full to extra full choked shotgun. In my ported 3 inch, and 3and 1/2 inch chambers. It works very well on Turkey, long range pheasant shots. Range is increased to 60 yards. As 5 shot has enough ft lbs to kill cleanly. Do not use if a close range shot is is offered. My shots in my over and under, carries a standard 2 3/4 inch load of 1and 3/8 this ounce and .my second barrel has this much heavier load, with success.

This load is replacing the 357magnum. With less recoil, and equal power, and better penetration.

Great ammunition. Visited with The Underwood Ammunition Supervisor, The Gentleman referred me to His Ballistic engineer. That Gentleman, stated that Their ammunition is loaded to.SAAMI STANDARDS.THE +P AMMUNITION IS LOADED TO 40,000 psi.The standard 45-70 is loaded to 28,000 psi.

Great ammunition. If advertised velocity is correct? Then the actual bullet energy at the muzzle is 660 ft. Lbs.
