Remington subsonic

Written on Apr 18, 2024

They shoot great out of my Marlin model 60 and 795. No FTF or FTE.
They're very accurate as well. 10 shot group covered by a dime at 40 yards.
They are subsonic, but they're fairly loud. They're fairly clean, they didn't make my gun nasty even after 150 plus rounds. I definitely recommend them.

quiet 22 semi auto

Finally got some of these and got to shoot them and was terribly disappointed. Shooting them through my marlin model 60 and 795 neither would cycle them. They were accurate, and they were quiet but they are no good to me if they won't cycle. They will probably work fine in a lever action or bolt action gun.

Tacfire compensator

Written on Feb 28, 2024

I installed this compensator on a Ruger American range rifle in 5.56 with a 16" barrel. It made a fairly noticeable difference on the muzzle report making it not nearly as loud. Instead of the sound coming out of the end of the barrel and going in all directions, it now comes out going straight ahead of the gun. I did not use the crush ring that will came with it and had no alignment problems. It's made from steel and looks good on the gun and for the money it works great. Very much recommended.

Barnes 55g hp

They shoot exceptionally well out of my Ruger ranch rifle. On a good day, off of a bench, I can shoot half inch groups at 100 yds. I've only shot a handful of coyotes with them but so far I've not had any exit wounds, nor has anything ran off to die. As long as the price stays reasonable I'll probably keep shooting them.

Barnes tsx ammo

This stuff shoots great out of my Tikka t3. The gun is topped with a Vortex diamondback 3.5 x10x50 scope and I can shoot 1-in groups at 150 yards. That's plenty good for deer hunting in western NC. Shot one deer through the shoulders and he never moved out of his tracks.

Winchester 00 buck

Was planning to use thses as a second shot for coyote hunting, but decided to use something else. They do group good out to 40 yrds and hit hard. They shot through the 3" tree i had the target fastened to. Easily kill deer out to 50 yards or so.

Winchester buck shot

These things shoot great out of everything I got. They hold a decent pattern out to 35 yards with a modified choke. Beyond that they start to open up pretty good.
