Enhanced Black Nitride AR15/M16 Bolt Carrier Group

I purchased this Radian bolt carrier group from Optics Planet after much researching the product and its competitors. I plan to use this BCG for my currently underway AR-15 pistol build. The believe the black nitrate treatment on the Bolt carrier group will make this AR jam free reliable and fun to shoot at the range and in tactical class and competition i hope to be part of.

The SPARC II Red Dot Sight

This a another fine product from Vortex. It is a little bit larger than i wanted. If i had to do it over again i would go with the SPARC I. The elevation and windage caps are held om with a wire. This make it difficult to open the caps. I am thinking of cutting the wire, but i do not like to alter products. Over time i think i can learn to open the caps without difficulty. The sight itself on my 5.56 rifle is excellent. The Votex Logo on the side and top of the sight looks a little swaggy compared to the Aimpoint which really has no visible logo markings on it. That will take some getting used to as well.

This scope is powerful in a small package. Excellent clear glass. Easy to operate. A real joy to use. I use the scope at the range. On the pistol side i can attach it to a clap and hang it off the side of my position. On the rifle side i use a full height free standing tripod to eliminate excess movement. This gives you a very clear view of your target. I can see .22 shots out to 100 years very easily.
