Almost perfect
Written on Dec 11, 2024
This barrel nut is wonderful for attaching any 'enhanced' handguard to a regular threaded upper receiver. However, you have to be sure that your AR armorer's wrench has those three round pegs protruding out, in order for it to fit this barrel nut; because not all armorer's wrenches are the same... Also, the eight Hex screws that screw into this barrel nut are not included; the Aero Precision handguard should have included them instead.

Hogue Ruger Redhawk Monogrip
These grips fit my Ruger Redhawk perfectly! But, installation was a bit troublesome, since they can't be split into two halves. The only way was to shimmy them up the entire metal grip frame of the revolver. I did what the instructions suggested, and I added a drop of gun oil onto the corner of the metal frame. That oil made things go in a bit easier. Now, my revolver feels robust and ready to tame the recoil of the .44 magnum caliber! (The description said that these grips were for a 'round butt', but my Ruger Redhawk is kind of square-ish butt and these fit fine.)

Not worth it in my opinion.

Installation was a huge hassle; didn't work with my Gen3 G27, even though the included instructions did say it works for a G27 (my mag was Gen4, but my gun was Gen3), taking it off was also a huge hassle! My mag had plenty of damage, on the bottom, as a result. Maybe it would work with a Gen4 mag/Gen4 gun combo...

What more do you need?

The difference between this and the more expensive MPN: GTPGB# is that the metal surface on this gas block isn't very smooth; it's pock-marked. Also, this was contained in a simple zip-lock bag. If you don't mind the looks and packaging, save yourself some money, and get this instead.

A nice surprise

I was pleasantly surprised that this had no scallops nor indentations inside. You really only need to purchase the Aero BAR barrel nut, and this will be able to be installed on to any threaded mil-spec upper receiver. And the bottom of this handguard will line up with the barrel nut too.

High sights
Written on Nov 04, 2024
I bought the high version. These are perfect to "1/3 co-witness" with your iron sights. I like how Trybe added a little dab of blue threadlock on both the front and rear screws.

Nice Glock replacement slide
Written on Oct 31, 2024
This slide came with the channel liner pre-installed. It includes two hex screws to attach the Venom optic to the slide. The left screw is a bit longer than the right one. There are no "studs" on the four corners of the optic mount; but that's not a big problem, since the optic fits so snuggly onto the slide anyways.

Not bad...

Four things that I have noticed: 1. This fake "bcg" doesn't let your hammer rest in the normal, vertical position. So, if you don't use this for some time, then, I suggest swapping this with a real bcg to release the spring tension on your AR's hammer. 2. It was not sighted in at the factory. IDK if it was only my unit, but the laser was shining on the rifling inside my bore when I first got it. 3. This "could" be used as a bore sighter; because there's a little switch to keep the laser constantly on. 4. The "mag" battery charges very slowly. 0-100% took around 15 hours!

Different than picture/description

TRYBE Defense AR-15 Dust Cover Assembly
The item that I actually received was different than the description. It was still Trybe Defense and it still had the "5.56 NATO" words on it; but it only had a normal bar with a little C-clip. There was no knurling. It worked; but I was expecting a knurled bar...

Angled foregrip or vertical foregrip?
Written on Oct 06, 2024
This is nice and bright, with an easy-to-push little button. However, the rear of this sticks straight down; and being in California, I just didn't want to risk putting this onto my featureless AR rifles. (Yes, I know an angled foregrip, like this, should be fine on a featureless AR rifle in California; but I just didn't want some antigun lawyer to claim that this is an illegal vertical foregrip.)
