Great upgrade, not a lot of money

Easy to install, huge improvement over the factory trigger. Very affordable option if you're just an average shooter. Still uses the factory Ruger bolt catch, which is kind of a bummer, but not a deal breaker.

Strong 7075 aluminum, very lightweight, extremely accurate. These should be considered the gold standard of iron sights. The front sight post is a little thinner too allowing for an even tighter shot group. Scalarworks offers a lifetime warranty as well. These are well worth the money.

It's ok.. Could Be Better

It's an ok mount. There could be a few adjustments made to it. My first complaint is, when installing the 4 screws, they don't go straight in. You have to angle the screws to get them in and angle the tool you're using to tighten them down. This can cause stripping of the screws to happen very easily. My second complaint is that the body of the optic don't line up that well and sit flush with each other. There's 2 small gaps on each side of my optic causing it to sit at a slight angle. I also wish MI would have made it out of 7075 aluminum. Other than that, it seems like a well thought out mount. Usually MI makes great stuff. I just wish they would have fine tuned this a little more.

What a great light. Easy to use, easy to install, super bright. This light is on my home defense handgun. I wouldn't bet my life on anything else besides surefire when it comes to illumination. Spend a little extra and buy the best.
