These come very nicely packaged and the very nice fit and finish is immediately noticeable. These are beauties. Nice heft in the hand, decent ergos.
Glass is nice and clear, color rendition is very good. Some distortion around the edges but not too bad.
I would definitely recommend these to anyone looking to spend <$400 for binoculars.

Beware! Refurbished product.

Review for
Nikon Monarch 7 8x42mm Binoculars
Ordered as "Demo, New" and followed with a call to confirm that. Told yes, as described. Expected lightly handled new pair. Received today, box clearly labeled "refurbished product." I will be returning, not interested in a refurb with a 90 day warranty (not sure if Nikons no fault policy applies).
