Definitely happy with this purchase. After a brief break-in this barrel is giving me 1" groups at 100 yds using 120 grain Remington UMC ammo. With my hand loaded 190 grain subsonics it's grouping 1/2" at 100 yds. It's a hoot to shoot! Finish looks great and the fit is perfect. I didn't run into any feed ramp issues that another reviewer had. Maybe I got lucky with the upper receiver I used.

Built a AR 6.5 Creedmoor upper of my choice of parts. Had considered a specialized BCG but went with a "Creedmoor rated" product. Took the upper to my local gun smith for head spacing and final checks before using, all good to go. On first use I adjusted the gas block for the ammo but I had primer cratering and a few pierced primers right away. My current bolt face and firing pin & pin channel measured in spec! Head scratcher for sure. After checking to see there was really no over pressure issues I decided not to get too deep into specialized buffer springs/weight systems or gas systems. I read up on the JP enhanced high pressure bolt and started with that. Turns out should I have used this bolt & firing pin combo in the first place. Dropped right in to replace the existing DPMS pattern bolt, perfect head space & no more primmer issued at all. Thank you JP!!!
