Review for
Volquartsen Firearms Firefly Bolt 2.0
I would recommend the Firefly Bolt 2.0. The latest generation has much better springs, and the aluminum seems to be a bit harder than the original version that I have.
My only issue with the bolt is that it requires frequent cleaning to function properly with low-velocity ammunition when using the low-powered spring, likely due to its light weight. While you could change the spring, it is just as easy to clean the bolt.
Additionally, the heaviest spring seems to wear the bolt down faster and does not function well with CCI Quiet 40gr ammunition. However, with the low-power spring, it functions reliably without any malfunctions for about 100 suppressed rounds before it needs cleaning.

Great for most silent buffer and mil spec system.
Written on Dec 20, 2023
If you do not like when you break down your upper from your lower receiver, and the recoil buffer system just falls lose. These are great devices, also works with a mil-spec and non-JP Enterprise silent buffer systems too. It’s a pain to try and remove your Buffer system with a buffer retainer pin, if you need to change the weight of the buffer system. You could try sanding down the mil-spec buffer retainer pin. However, many buffer retainer pin materials are not very strong, and I would not trust them if you switched back to a standard buffer system.

UTG Pro 4-Slot Keymod Picatinny Rail Sections, are great on 10" or smaller handguards
Written on Mar 16, 2023
I really like the UTG Pro 4-Slot Keymod Picatinny Rail Sections. These rail sections fit very well on shorter handguards, 10” and shorter. I prefer them better than the BCM, Midwest Industries and Odin Works on my 300 blackout firearms. This is due to the fitment near the end of the handguard, these rails do not hang over the end of the handguard or take up too much space on the handguard like some of the others which I mentioned.

Great deal on a Vertx bag

Review for
Vertx Gamut Checkpoint Backpack
I have many Vertx Backpack bags the Gamut Checkpoint is one of my favorites. The bag is very durable and comfortable to carry. I love this backpack. I just wish it was bigger pockets, but keeping the same ratios, but maybe just deeper. My CMMG RESOLUTE isn't small, but once I have that and 3 extra mags, there's hardly room for anything else. Seriously thought it truly is an awesome backpack and I show it off to my friends. One small thing they did that has a big impact on comfort is that they have the shoulder straps angled a lil bit. Doing this conforms far better to how the shoulders are built. It wasn't something I had ever noticed before, but did after I got it and on down the road was checking out other backpacks for different needs.

Great for a 1/3 co-witnes and light weight
Written on Feb 03, 2018
I bought for a Sig Romeo 5, but too hiigh for a 1/3 co-witness with burris or vortex 1/3 co-witness magnifier mounts. Also it would have been great if mounting screws would had been included for the price. Great for a Holosun, and my other T1 clone red dot sights.
