Great SBR case once you replace the egg crate foam with pick apart foam

Been using the FDE version of this case for about two years. The twist lock clasps work well and have stood up to repeated over-stuffings of the case. The O-Rings no longer are airtight but this is my doing unfortunately. See comment about repeated over-stuffings. Don't do that.
The only real con I had was the egg crate foam in the bottom half. I replaced mine with pick-apart foam and love it. All the protection of the leading cases but at half the price. Can't go wrong even if you do spend $30 on new foam.

LOVE the handguard and upper combo!

Made my latest, .300 BLKOUT upper build quick and simple. Just mount your gas block, insert the barrel, screw and torque the barrel nut (no need to "time" anything for the gas tube) and screw/torque the 8 set screws to secure the handguard directly to the upper. That is it.
Fit and finish is just what you'd expect from Aero Precision; perfect. FDE Cerakote is expertly applied.
Bought a 9" handguard and an 8" barrel and installed a Silencerco Trifecta ASR muzzle device. My Omega 30 suppressor nests about an inch inside the handguard nicely.
Any and all AR's I build in the future will use this upper/handguard combo and Optics Planet will be the first place I check for them too. As of May 2018 O.P. had the cheapest price on this combo anywhere, including the vendor's own site.

Much, much better than the Howard L's I'd had before

These ear pros are light, low profile and more comfortable than the Howard Leight Impacts I had before. Snug fit around ears + gel filled cups instead of HL's foam filled makes for a better fit and more sound suppression. I got the green pair. Like the color as they're the only green pair amongst my shooting buddies. Highly recommended if it's time for new ear pro. A+ product.
