For bumps in the night

GrovTec US Bed Side Holster
The GrovTec US Bed Side Holster is made in the USA and built very sturdy. There are 2 sizes (for small/medium and medium/large handguns. I got the medium/large and it fits my Glock 21SF perfectly and I imagine just about any full sized hand gun will fit in it.
It simply fits between the mattress and platform/box spring and the holster portion hangs off to the side of the bed for easy access if things go bump in the night. *My advice would be to "not" leave your handgun in the holster unattended.*
There are a couple other bedside holsters out there, but I try to buy American made products whenever possible and this one is priced competitively, well made and fits the bill nicely.

LaserLyte Laser Trainer Pistol Cartridge
Just opened it up today and used the 45 ACP in my Glock 21SF. FYI, to use it in a Glock you need to remove the magazine, *make sure the chamber is empty, pull the slide back, lock it into place, insert the LaserLyte Trainer Cartridge in the chamber and release the slide (you may have to give it a good push to get the slide to lock completely. Likewise to remove it, pull the slide back, lock it into place and use a pen or cleaning rod to push the cartridge back out by going through the barrel end.
To use it you need to pull the slide back each time to use it. I use this with the LaserLyte Quick Time Target, it's been helpful with my training and worked great thus far. Overall a little on the expensive side that's why 4 stars instead of 5. It will be interesting to see how my aim is with real ammo as with the training cartridge I need to aim slightly lower (about 2") than what my sights are telling me it should be.
