My last scope rings would not come off of the old bushnell scope so I had to order these new ones for a new vortex scope with high variable zoom. They were perfect for the 44mm adjustable objective. There is about 3-4 sheets of paper space between scope and barrel in the tightest spot. That's Medium rings with 44mm adjustable objective combo. Refield makes these rings as well for about half the cost but I prefer these Ruger rings. If I recall correctly, the redfield only have two ring screws vs the Ruger 4 hole. I've never had any problems out of the 300win the reds are on but I'm always wondering about it...an excuse to shoot it often to check its reliability. Your money. I advise using UPS. FedEx sometimes uses Usps for their deliveries...ain't nobody got time for that. 8D

6-18x44 on Ruger M77 25-06

Package showed up quick on a rainy day. I had the scope out with range finder checking everything out to around 560 yards and it seems to be really clear. The edges did close in some at 18x but I found bringing my check weld in an inch helped. AO works as expected. Came with sunshade and cleaning blanket. Clicks were audible and accurate. I did a quick bore match and slung 20 rds at 125 yards. Very slight adjustment with tight groups. 500-600 yards will be easy on the farm. Very happy so far. I have two others in 4-12x44 on 243 and 308. No complaints. Great products from Vortex. I like these Vortex better than my Monarch and this is only a crossfire were talking about. $209. Free shipping. OP has a phone app. Check it out.
