Worth the money and then some!!!!

I’ve never really seen a need for ambidextrous charging handle for the AR 15 but I thought I would give this a shot. Being left-handed is can be a disadvantage in the firearms world but I’ve always made due. This time I thought why not give an ambi part a try and now I see the light and it’s awesome. Charging the rifle shouldered is easy and smooth because of the large latches. I’ve bought several Trybe Defense products in the past and overall they’ve been stellar save for a little file work I had to do on my AR9 lower’s ejector( it stood a proud) which could’ve been the lower and not Trybe Defense BCG. This charging handle is priced About $10 more than a standard charging handle but offers ambidextrous control which is worth it.Bottom line if you’re considering this product I say go ahead and buy it.

Buyer beware?

Bought this BCG for my AR-9 build to go with the rest of my Trybe Defense parts(barrel,upper receiver and handguard) and installed it on my KE Arns Glock style lower. Had to file down the ejector to get it pin together and remove a little material for the BCG to cycle freely in the upper. It was only minor fitting on a easily replaceable part but never the less wasn’t a drop in fit. So you may or may not have this issue but I did just something to take note of

Nice barrel for the money

I bought this barrel for my AR-9 build and the figment was nice and tight in the upper. The nitride coating great with no noticeable flaws if any. Strong rifling with a polished chamber and good crown. I will be testing the accuracy today but if the aforementioned description is any indication it should be great as well.

High value at a good price. The anodizing is very good and closely matches my KE Arms 9mm lower receiver. Very little side to side play between the upper and lower. If you’re looking to build an AR15/9 then this is a good option.

Good quality, but

The quality and finish of the handguard is very good. Mounting is quite solid despite the lack of anti-rotation tabs. Packaging is lackluster which doesn’t really matter since you’re probably gonna throw it away anyway. One negative is it does not come with an torx wrench to install the small screws. Considering you’re building an an AR15 or in this case an AR9 I already had the tools to do so just something to take note of.
