Optic planet is a great place to find shells at a good price. I have used these shells in the past and they have worked for me. There is no problem shooting out to 40 yards and killing a turkey. They pattern great out to 40 and 50 yards yes I would recommend them.

This is perfect for my son’s first turkey hunt. These shells are as good as any other out to 30 yards. With that in mind that’s what makes the hunt calling in a turkey close, not to mention memories with your son that will last a lifetime. Yes, you can go with the tss brand that will get you out further but will pay much more for only 5 shells. Optics planet is a great place to buy with prices competitive with other web sites.
