Known fault on RMRs causes failure
Written on Jul 10, 2021
There is a known issue with flickering and failure due to the design of the contacts on these RMRs.
I am waiting for them to approve a repair on mine, but I would never buy again from a company that creates a sight that costs as much as a pistol and could fail at a critical moment. They should have recalled these.

Surefire XC1 on Glock 19

Review for
SureFire XC1 Ultra-Compact LED Handgun Light
The light installs in seconds and is sleek and compact.
I had some concerns about the operation of the light as I had read that you could not operate the on switch while keeping your hands in the ready to fire position. The truth is there are switches on either side, the left side (gun forward) is a momentary on paddle switch easily reach with your forward tumb. This allows operation with the gun in the firing position - useful for scouting out dark areas while still allowing concealment by releasing your thumb. It sounds confusing but it works - bright and easy to use.
