This is no reflection on the trigger. I installed it in a .308 and it is smooth with a very short take up and reset. My favorite trigger so far. The issue is that the box wasn't sealed and maybe that's normal for this brand. However, the trigger appeared a little scuffed as though it had been previously installed. The worst thing is that one of the trigger pins was missing. I have plenty so it wasn't a deal breaker. However, it is annoying to pay for something and not receive all of the parts.
