First of all I would like to apologize for my other review on this brace. After another day at the range trying to figure out what is going on with this brace, it turns out to be my 3.5 lb drop in trigger I installed. I must of got a lemon. Swapped out the trigger and fired 100 rounds none stop out of my 300 blackout pistol build. I love the looks, feel and quality of this brace. I highly recommend it.

First off, I just wanted to say Optics Planet is awesome. Great customer service and gets me my items at a fast rate. As for this brace by Maxim, it does not function. The looks and quality are amazing and looks awesome on my 300 Blackout but does not function with my pistol build. It would fire the first round that I've charged and then light primer strike on the next repeatedly. So basically only fires when I charged it. That got me thinking I needed a heavier buffer weight. I then ordered a Maxim H2 buffer weight and did the same thing today at the range. I put this brace on my 5.56 upper and did the same exact thing too. I then borrowed my friend's pistol brace with a standard buffer weight which was made by a different company and put it on my 300 Blackout build and it fired like a dream (100 round drum non stop with zero issues). So now I'm out $400. I can't return it because this brace was one of the first items I've ordered for my build. I had it since April 2020 and just recently finished the build. This was supposed to be my home defense weapon but can't trust it. So if you want a very expensive paper weight and go through the troubles I did, order one. Otherwise, look elsewhere.
