Nice Upgrade for FAL variants
Written on Jan 09, 2018
Installed this handguard on my imbel parts kit FAL built back in 2001. Pretty well machined and very good aesthetics. A few minor machine marks in some pretty unnoticeable areas, but overall a very nice finish. Had to do some minor dremel work on the handguard assembly cap to get the cross-bolt to thread through on the front of the handguard. My assembly cap looked slightly bent and out of alignment prior to installation, so it could very well have been due to that OEM part and not the actual specs on the rail. It fits extremely securely with absolutely no movement in either the lower of upper half of the handguard. Mlok is all in spec and zero issues with attaching accessories. I also prefer the top piece with no pic rail, as it feel excellent in hand. It looks outstanding after being installed and I am very pleased and would recommend highly recommend, especially at this price point.
Is the DSA handguard nicer? Yes. Is it $200 nicer...absolutely not!

Bravo Company MFG Gunfighter Grip Mod 3
This and the Magpul K2 grip are my current favorites. It's a difficult selection between the two. It's ergonomic and fits the hand well. It has good texturing and looks great too. While I don't favor putting a bunch of stuff in your grip that could just as easily go in your pocket, it is a well made compartment door that has no rattle. I also like the price as compared with the earlier mods to keep it competitive.

midwest-industries-15in-light-weight-m-lok
Weight, design, and ease of installation all hit the mark. I love not having to index the barrel nut. I'm not sure the color is an exact match of Magpul, so if your directly attaching other fde accessories then there might be a slight color contrast, however, this was not an issue for my setup. It's not the cheapest, but certainly not the most expensive. It's about in the range where you would expect the price to be. It is extremely comfortable to hold (even with bare hands). I have two and plan to use more in future builds.

POF USA Roller Cam Pin AR15 .223 RCPA223
I purchased to replace the standard cam pin with my Adams Arms piston upper. I think this is probably most beneficial as an addition to pistons, but it looks like they also have kit for DI guns. Reduces the gouging you get with the square head type that is especially common and more pronounced with pistons. Also because of the coatings it requires less lube to run smoothly. For $25 its a nice addition to your gun, but I'd honestly give it 5 stars if it were priced around $15.
