Purchased a Savage Model 11 in .223 for the wife. The rifle held a great zero for me, but the wife had issues as the eye relief was not right and the cope needed to be moved. With the stock bases this was not possible. Purchased this mount to resolve this issue. Mounted to the rifle and torqued the screws to 26 inch pounds. Mounted the scope to fit the wife, bore sighted and went to the range. The mount worked great. Wife kept a MOA at 100yds and is now happy. Only 4 stars and the mounting hardware was soft and in my opinion cheep in quality. The rail it's self was great.

Leupold UltimateSlam 3-9x40mm Rifle Scope
I bought this to go on a 12ga Slug Gun. Mounted as per my usual process that I would use on any other gun. Bore sighted it and took to the range. After initial sight in, moved to 100yds. Scope is clear easy to see and holds a good zero. For a slug gun or short range Muzzle Loader, I would purchase this scope again. Leupold has a solid reputation if warranty is needed, though I have never needed it.
