You can feel and see it bending when holding just the foregrip and tilting your gun. They feel brittle enough to break under any significant force.
If you want a tight responsive and secure rail that, look elsewhere.
They do give you 2 pieces, but thats 2 too many in this case.
Easy Install, quality materials. Looks mean and feel natural to shoulder + shoot
-the stock pad: well cushioned with a grippy feel, securely attached to the buttplate,
-the tube wrap: durable foamposite material that you can pull without fear of tearing, sharp impacts wont rip or cut it
-the metal: matte finish aluminum is super lightweight, FDE ano- matches BCM FDE.
-the feel: Easily adjustable with a couple turns of an allen wrench, the ability to telescope and swivel lets you find a position to fit any shooter. (I keep the rear plate juuust loose enough to allow me to spin the plate 180° easily)
-the look: I put this on my BCM SBR and its just... *chef hand kiss* perfection.
I decided to cop this to put on my AR pistol instead of a pistol brace stock or tail hook. The length of this stock is perfect for aiming. It fits into shoulder like a glove, and the pad is soft but won't break apart or tear. I am also using a ERGO 0° Pistol Grip, and the stock in conjunction with a 0° grip makes Shouldering and aiming feel so much more smooth and natural. It took me 5 mins to install, the spring and buffer weight from my pistol buffer tube worked in this stock without issue. Also, there is no castle but used in this stock, and the ambidextrous sling mount has rounded and smooth eyelets, and has a slightly grippy texture, definitely better than stock metal sling mount.
It's easy to adjust on the fly. I keep the stock Allen screws just loose enough to be able to spin the stock if I want the broad part on top or bottom.
Cannot say enough about how good this stock is oh yeah, it looks fkn sick too. F
This grip is all I hoped it to be and more.
It weighs maybe 1/3 of what you would expect it to weigh, but is far from flimsy. It withstood a couple 20ft drops onto concrete without issue, and feels as good as new.
The only issue I have is that the picatiny rail attachment on top does not span the entire length of the grip. The problem with 2inch attachments only on front & back of the grip is that only handguards with full length picatinny can fully mount the grip. M-Lok habdguards cannot mount rails over the 3 inches up against the magwell, which means in order to have th grip flush to the maxwell it is mounted to a picatinny rail that is only secured to the Handguard by half, which puts a lot of stress on the one side of the grip instead of distributing weight evenly.
