I really like how sturdy this fixture holds the receive when the bolt section is secured will the supplied allen bolts.What I don't understand is why the rear pin hole is oblong making it wobbly when just using the pins to hold the receiver

Holds your firearm but it's pretty sloppy. I'll try shimming it to have a tighter fit in the magwell. Probably would look for a different brand so unfortunately I can't really give it a good recommendation.
