I used this to remove the stock 870 Turkey Stock fore grip. It was a tight fit but easily unscrewed the retainer and swapped out fore grips in just a few minutes. The last time I did this I had used a pick and a screw driver. This tool is worth it just to save the frustration.
Fits and Works Great, Barely Fits Hornady Rapid Safe

I installed this on my 870 and found that with n 18" barrel there is very little shadow from the barrel and +2 mag extension. It has click on and momentary options for the light. When I mounted this in the Hornady Rapid Safe it is a very close fit, but still able to use the safe with this light installed. Overall this meets my need for a weapon light for about the same price as a light and mount. I did find that the battery cap may be easy to cross thread, so it is something to be careful with when installing.
