Just as good as the pricey ones

Written on Nov 23, 2024

Well here we go again. I just reviewed the RISE 242 trigger that I got along with this bcg and yea these two crush. Both in the nickel boron finish. Super smooth finish and everything was assembled perfectly. I usually run radian enhanced bcg’s but were sold out everywhere so I figure why not get one of these and really put it through its paces. I was building a new rifle and just for some context these two mated up to an AndroCorp aci-15 Bravo rifle with a geisselle lower parts kit as well as their ambi charge handle. Also have JP enterprises silent capture spring and adjustable gas block. Last part is funny in my opinion is the Guntec slip over compensator/shroud combo which actually isn’t just for looks funny enough. Oiled everything up and hit the range. Everyone says the AndroCorp being a cheap starter rifle is already a good gun but I decided to totally replace everything to what I’m used to and lemme tel you. I put 2500 rounds through this thing and I’ll tel you it shoots ever it as good as my Sig Spear!!! All in I put a total of around $1300 into this rifle and now i don’t know why I own the spear lol. I went back after 20 mins of cool off and put the stock bcg in realizing I never even shot it (and without and hiccups) I realize that the Rise bcg was so much smoother. Heard a lot of back and forth about nickel boron stuff and lemme tell ya I just put another 1500 rounds through 500 being the stock bcg and a 1000 being the RISE one and it’s a would of difference if

Mind blowing

It’s always a crazy thing when people talk about triggers. Now I totally agree that most people should start training with their stock milspec triggers 150%. Especially for safety reasons. Then once you understand and decide whether want or need a single, double stage, or binary trigger you start your search for what seems to be an endless barrage of companies and their offerings. You think about how many times you bought something cheap or expensive in this industry and were totally disgusted or completely surprised by the quality. I can assure you more money isn’t always the answer. With this trigger being totally affordable and also my second from RISE the first being the 140 series I can tell you is just mind blowing. Fitment was superb so I can’t attest to what others are complaining about. To be honest I think these same people should not be installing their own equipment. Totally beautiful blue cased trigger even though no one will ever see it. The weight of the pull is ever so light and crisp without being so light that I have to worry about safety issues. The reset is short pronounce and clean. I received it today, installed it in 10 mins, and heading straight to the range. I torture tested this with the accompanying bcg from RISE that I also received in the same package putting 2500 rounds through it just now and I didn’t get one hiccup smooth as butter and was consistently outrunning my gun. Few adjustments to the gas system and buffer and we were dialed. Had an
