Although I did not fire my new S & W 41 7" barrel as of now, Smith and wesson has been very reliable in past purchases that I have made with them. The new 7" inch barrel fits perfectly on my 1980's manufactured S & W model 41 22lr bottom receiver . I'm certain that I will not have any problems in future usage.
