I do not know if it is my upper or the barrel, but nut would not index correctly with provided shims. It was either too much or too little. It seems a shim with half the width would do the trick, but alas, it is not included. This setup may work for some, it does not work for me, hence low rating and recommendation. In the future I will try and stay away from anything that requires shims to work - too much hassle and not enough flexibility.

I am trying not to add any stars because this product does not deserve any, but may have to settle with one due to programing. This product is a shining example of MiC POS quality. It sounds good on paper but execution is beyond crappy. Controls were never meant to work - the touch pad is twisted and does not fit and is loose. Weather resistant - AYFK? Fit and finish is pathetic - one of the triggers sits too far from the touch pad so cannot be activated. Looking at this, it will NEVER work, even if you get something with a reasonably fit rubber interface. I am returning this MiC POS with extreme prejudice and advise anyone and everyone to steer clear of this line of products. I also purchased a couple other items from the same manufacturer and they seem to work, but I am sure I will regret not returning them in the longer run. I would go even further - based on this item alone, I would not recommend buying anything from STKR Concepts - let it remain a concept, a failed concept, if it cannot control the quality of its products.

Optics Planet should do a better job vetting this MiC POS garbage so it does aggravate its loyal customer base. Or else, have a MiC POS watermark on all these items so we have a better idea what we are getting ourselves into.
