For 50 yard benchrest with a 22lr this scope is perfect. The field of view at 50 yards is small so initial setup may be tricky not being able to find your misses, but once you do you are set. The glass is excellent and the micro adjustable parallax is just what's needed. I have two Sightron scopes from Optics Planet and the only downside I can come up with is the exterior finish on them seems to deteriorate after 5 years of heavy use. They function perfectly.I only bring this up because I have several other brands that don't do this. Second focal plane and the parallax at the objective bell is perfect.

This scope is amazing. Clearest brightest image I have seen. I use it for BR50 shooting and it great. You can't get a scope too big for 22lr benchrest as far as I am concerned. Optics Planet is a pleasure to do business with. I have dealt with them for several years and have never been disappointed. My only issue with this purchase is Sightron customer service. When delivered the package had never been opened and the focus knob was misindexed and missing a set screw. I called and emailed them and was told they would send me one in the mail..... It never happened. I found and installed one with no problem but I am hoping any further issues will be handled more professionally. This was a service issue not a product problem.

I bought this to use on my benchrest rimfire rifle after consulting several area accomplished shooters and it works great with unbelievable clarity and precision. 1/4 inch targets at 50 yards look like pie plates. It is great for targets and benchrest but not designed for hunting or anything that requires field of view. The 1/8 MOA dot and crosshairs are SMALL, but that is just what you need for precision and small targets out to 100 yards, in my case. The benchrest turrets are a nice feature as well when small incremental corrections are needed for changing conditions on the bench. I looked for a long time before purchasing this and after using it for two months I am convinced this scope is absolutely the best for the money. Shipping was fast, price was fare and function is better than expected. The front bell AO adjust is a plus for what I use it for because you generally set focus and never touch it the rest of the day. Optics Planet is my go to source for this type of purchase because they have always had excellent service, good prices, huge selection and fast shipping.

Just what I was looking for. It free floats the barrel, priced right and high quality. If you are not into hanging accessories off your rifle this works great. Hogue products are always high quality, I've never had issues with anything
from them. An assembly tool comes with the forend but I found it much easier to use a standard strap wrench.
