Lancer Replacement Handguard for Sig 716
I have been wanting to replace the “ cheese grater” hand guard on my Sig 716 for a while. This one from Lancer was the only option I could find. Fit is perfect. I used Duracoat Dark Earth FDE and it matches up very well. Longer profile is nice. A little more real estate to add pic rails for ir light and, bipod when needed. Only 4 stars because there is a 4 inch section at the muzzle end at the 12 o’ clock that is not slotted for short rail section to mount ir laser sight to.

Not too stiff. Not too light. The trigger pull on these is "just right"! Very crisp break. Your groups will show improvement so long as you are doing your part. I bought my first one from Geissele during their Black Friday sale. Liked it so much I almost ordered another one from them until I saw the price here at Optics Planet. I have another AR15 build in the works and it will receive one of these as well. They will work on both AR10 and AR15 platforms. If you have an older Colt check the pin diameter to make sure you get the correct pins. Easy to install after watching the You Tube Video.
