Bore scopes don't lie, but barrel manufacturers do

I bought this barrel. It has been a sub MOA performer.
I would call this a legitimate "match" barrel. According to what the bore scope shows, it is one of the best barrels I have ever bought. Not so with some other manufacturers "match" barrels. Now that bore scopes are dirt cheap, everyone is buying them, and they show that some manufacturers use the term "match grade" very loosely. I have a Cold Hammer Forged barrel that I paid top dollar for that isn't even close to how nice this Criterion barrel looks. So don't buy the hype; get a bore scope and see if you're getting what you pay for.
