The only reason I don't give this 5 stars is because I don't know if this is the best. With limited experience in laser sights I don't think I'm qualified to evaluate that high. With that said, this seems to work well. It attached easily and sight adjustments were a breeze.
My only concerns are that it seems to only catch a few threads while mounting so I did not want to turn down to tight. It would be nice to have a torque in the instructions.
With the sighting being so easy a few hundred rounds should prove whether or not this sight will hold true with a 45 cal.
So far so good!

looks like it will do the job

Ok, this looks cool and works from the kitchen window looking out in the dark. I have yet to put in on a rifle and do some night shooting. The range I usually shoot at closes at dark.
Frankly I do not know what I'm missing between gen1 and any other generation as this is the first night scope I have ever looked through. I hope to get this mounted and sighted in before winter sets in and coyote season comes around.
