Using the wheeler pistol sight tool I was able to apply even pressure during installation. Like others have said, the dovetail cuts are not in spec for the XD(m). Both front and rear left metal shavings and sheared during install. The front sight actually snapped off and one of the dovetail wings is now firmly stuck in the front sight post cutout on the slide. Will be returning.
