I bought this to replace a Kak Flash Can on a 12 in barrel for a 6.5 Grendel AR to help reduce noise while deer hunting. The before and after was night and day! Before I put this comp on, one shot would have my ears ringing for minutes. Since I installed this, I have had the chance to shoot at multiple deer, shooting 1-5 shots consecutively, and had no issues at all with my ears ringing.

I cannot speak to whether this actually helps with recoil mitigation, but I don't feel it has made recoil worse.

The only CON I can think of for this is its weight. It is heavier than I expected and I could definitely feel a difference in weight after putting it on my 12 in barrel 6.5 Grendel AR, but its noise reduction is absolutely worth it for me.

This has really saved my ears this rifle season and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking to reduce noise without ear protection.
