I wanted a lightweight, minimalist 12.5 upper to build an AR pistol to add to my collection. This was to be my shortest, non-suppressed rifle that was going to contain an optic and a light, and maybe a grip on the list of furniture to add. Highly doubt I'll use an IR laser/illuminator, but it's nice to know there's a little rail in the front left if I need.
Fits my hand naturally, would easily see this as my new go-to.

Magpul AFG2 Angled Foregrip
This foregrip allows a more natural grip for me. Before I installed this piece, I could feel a strain in my left wrist.
The nub at the front allows for quick and repeatable hand placement.
You probably want to get an adapter rail from magpul as well. They're a little slimmer than the other ones I've tried.
