This is the first gun belt I've ever bought. I can't give a comparison review so I will skip that part. This belt seems to work as advertised and the buckle seems to be very well made. The buckle is all one solid piece so no parts to fail down the line. However, I have to knock off 1 star because this thing is very difficult to buckle and unbuckle. It has a hook that you need to put through the hole in the belt. This hook is 1/2" long and makes things very complicated. Once you figure it out it's not so bad but it will take a while to get the hang of it. I've had this belt and have been wearing it for only about 2 weeks. I've noticed that the holes in the belt have already started to expand. While this makes it easier to buckle and unbuckle, I have to wonder about the durability of the belt itself. I'm hoping it's just breaking in but it's a bit alarming. For $65 I expected better quality. Since I have to give a recommendation, I'm not recommending this belt as of now. Like I said, I've only had this belt for a couple weeks. I hope it works for years and I can change my recommendation.
