The metal construction of the mount is pretty solid, definitely not cheap feeling. Held on tight to the reciever after putting some slugs through the shotgun. Also the polymer shell holder is really sturdy on top of it. It did fit my mossberg 500 perfectly and could even switch the mount to my Maverick 88. The mount does have a space under the rail to use the front bead sight as well, which is great for if your optic goes down.

Very well built, construction feels solid and durable. Took it out to the range to zero and test how well it held up. After about 500 rounds, the zero still held with no shift. Overall a good red dot sight for the price.
