Perfect for "en plein air" painting.

I needed something fairly light weight yet sturdy enough to hold my Guerilla box full of painting supplies.
Pros: I loved the padded legs which will be very nice when I go out in the cold or when it's extremely hot in the sun. I also loved the quick connect features and the leveling devices. The monopod feature is a nice extra though I am not sure I'll use that much. The tripod feels and looks sturdy and should prove its worth after a few outings.
Cons: The tripod didn't come with any instructions... just a plain box with nothing much on it.
At the top of each leg is a slide out plastic piece. It took me a while before I could understand their function. These act as leg stoppers at 2 positions. Slide out part way for a narrower stance, slide out all the way for a broad stance.
Almost all the "adjustments" were loose on arrival. At first I thought the head was poorly set in or funky somehow then I found the ring to tighten that.
