Pelican is considered top quality for a reason. I use these to transport rifles in the back of my truck and they provide good protection against both bumps and the elements.
I recommend watching a YouTube video on how to cut the foam if you haven't done it before. Using an electric carving knife seems to be the key to getting the best results.

Great fit and no problems installing. These are very light but solid. The first rings I bought with an anti-cant level...and boy does it make a difference.
The black finish does wear off the corners easily when carried in a pelican case.
