quality no frills mount

Written on Jan 06, 2026

What you would expect from Geissele products. Mount is stable and has a nice ddc color.

secure mount

Written on Dec 16, 2025

This mount locks up super tight with no adjustment. Have had issues with the locking mechanism not coming unlocked when I want to remove my acog. Other than that easy install and no movement after many sessions at the range.

B5 sytems pistol grip

Written on Jul 16, 2025

Installed with no issue. Very comfortable angle. Fairly aggressive texturing that has a decent hand feel. It is a hollow grip so it is very light but, can have battery storage or whatever with the sold separate grip pod.

nice little budget upper

Written on Jul 15, 2025

Bought this to scratch a 9mm colt pattern mag itch. Used a 9mm block in an Anderson lower. Bought a couple brownells metal mags but found the pro mag steel magazines work best.

comfortable pistol grip

I prefer the grips that don’t have a beaver tail and are a bit more vertical. This grip has both of these features and a decent texture as well.

pistol brace upgrade

Written on Mar 29, 2025

This buffer tube looks awesome and does the job it is designed for. The added hexagonal shape just adds to the aesthetic of a typical cylindrical tube but nothing for function.

nice looking tailhook alternative

Written on Mar 29, 2025

Wanted to try something new on my Midwest Industries folding brace installed on an Ak pistol. This matched the same MI aesthetic but is def a little less comfortable than the tailhook which has more surface area. This is more comparable in shoulder feel to the “blade” style braces. Not that I would ever shoulder a pistol brace. lol
I’m also a little skeptical that it will stay tight on the brace as there is only one screw and no kind of stop keeping the brace from moving side to side, which the tailhook also had.
In conclusion the brace looks nice and is lower in cost and weight than the tailhook but for another $40 or so I would probably go with the tailhook.

could do worse

Written on Mar 29, 2025

Just needed a few random springs and detents to finish a lower and this was comparable to buying piecemeal and might as well have extras. Definitely took some breaking in to get everything smooth but for the price I have no complaints.

Works great.

Written on Nov 07, 2017

This is an excellent option for mounting your holster. When paired with the corresponding attachment you can securely and safely hang pretty much anything you want. Just need to be able to screw the fork to whatever needs attaching. The fork locks up tight with zero wobble and a very robust click. It stays put through vigorous activity but, is still easy to unlock when needed.

solid rail cover

Written on Jul 08, 2017

Locks up tight on rail. Ribs give solid purchase on forend. It gives the quadrail the look of a standard plastic forend while leaving options for accessories. Not really easy to cut because they are hard plastic. One pass with a Dremel then a light sand is all it takes to fit to size.
