Great Job Nikon (up date from orignal June 2017 review)
Written on Apr 20, 2021
I’ve owned these since June 2017 When they first hit the market. I’ve used them a few times I still had the original battery in them. I went to use them a few weeks ago and the range readout display was not working properly, I couldn’t read the lower half of the display even with new battery installed. Called Nikon they gave me an address for repair in NY. It cost me 35.00 to ship. They received them 5 days later. Two weeks after that I had a brand new pair on my porch! Hope these do better great customer service!

Ok boys and girls I'm sure I'm one of the first people to buy and receive the Nikon Laserforce Bino's I got them today. I took a big chance on these in my mind because I hadn't seen a pair in person, no one in my area had any. So that said I was pleasantly surprised how small and compact they are about the same size as my old bausch and lomb in the photo. They are heavier by far, but not bothersome especially using the Rick Young Bino harnesses if you don't have some get some you will never use anything else!
Nikon did their homework on these, fit and finish are very good as you would expect from a $1200 Bino, the rubber protective coating is very comfortable and non-slip. The rubber end caps are good as well. I'm pretty sure these are the smallest ranging binos on the market so far. Very bright and clear on par with $500-1000 dollar binos. The rangefinder is instant no matter the distance very impressive! The range button has a nice positive feel and silent, the focus wheel is good as well. I wish they came in 8x42 but ranging out to 1900yds with 8x might be more difficult. Can't wait to use them for varmint hunting and deer! I'm glad I took a chance! Thanks Optics Planet for fast service!!!!
