The unit comes with a nice case and ir illuminator. You will need to go on line and review the tutorials several times before you actually do it on your device. Glass is clear and the 3-12 variable does a nice job in either day/night modes. The day/night I found very nice since it would allow you to use only one scope to do both jobs.
