Solid, well thought out scope mount

I am always pleased to provide a positive review for a product. The Leupold Mark 2 covers all the basics well. It is easy to install. The attachment screws are very accessible and large enough to do the job. Once mounted, it provides a solid and secure base for the scope. There isn't too much more to say about it, except that it is a good value for the price. It works well enough that you just forget about it once it is in place.

I have found the Lyman Trigger Gauge to be a simple, repeatable tool for measuring trigger pull. I wish I had bought one a long time ago. It is good to have something like this when you are trying to set trigger pull to a standard.

Nikon ProStaff Target EFR 3-9x40 Rifle Scope
This was my first Nikon scope and I am favorably impressed. It is bright and clear and the extended focusing range is real plus. I am using mine for targets on a .22 rifle. The ability to set parallax down to 10 meters provides a level of flexibility that few scopes can match.
Overall, I would say it is a great price/performer and I would definitely recommend it.

Correct adapter for an Anschutz rail

After some searching, I determined that this is, indeed, the correct adapter to fit the bottom rail on an Anschutz rifle and will allow for the attachment of any of the Harris bipods. There isn't too much to say about it, except it does work.

I have more than one bipod and I have to say the Harris bipods are better designed than any I have used. I appreciate the fact that they are light, very strong, and easy to attach.
I am using mine primarily for targets and I have found the 6-9 inch version to be the best height for this application. You might want something a little bit taller if you were going to use it in the field.

Great scope for field or target

This is going to contain mostly superlatives. I have to say this is the best scope I have used. It is bright, clear and has good contrast.
I am using mine for targets and it is well designed for that kind of thing. It is very sturdy and would be fine for field use also. I would recommend that you get the sunshade. I didn't order one with the scope, but I am going to have to get one. It really helps with glare for morning or afternoon situations.
Another piece of advice I would pass along is to make sure you can find acceptable mounts before you invest in the scope. I had to do some looking to find the right kind of rings for a 30mm scope.

Great addition for any rifle

I recently installed a bipod on my .223 and it provided a substantial improvement in my shooting. I am getting better, more consistent groups than using a fixed rest (not 100% sure why).
The Harris Bipod is light, easy to install, and provides a very stable platform for shooting. I would recommend it to anyone who is a serious shooter.
