First time building an upper and I did it with all Aero parts. Everything fell right into place, no issues at all. No blemishes or burrs, no discolorations or bent threads, just perfect. I would recommend to anyone building an upper or upgrading your existing upper. I had an Aero upper with an Enhanced hand guard on a 14.5 p&w with Epsilon 556 SL, but didn’t care for the width of the hand guard. Can’t change the hand guard on those models so I built an identical upper I could put an R-one hand guard on.
I bought this one for my old Colt HBAR to spice it up some and boy did it. Anyone and everyone that shot it loved this trigger. So much so I ended up buying one for a new Daniel Defense M5. If you’re looking for a two stage trigger don’t wast your time or money messing around with other triggers, just get this one.
This is my second one and if I build another this will definitely be the trigger I use. The only struggle I had was with my Daniel Defense M5 and I had install the safety without the detent to allow it to spin freely for the trigger arm to clear. But once in place the safety detent was installed and everything works just fine.
It’s not as easy to install as a drop in but it is well worth the effort. The take up is barely noticeable, the wall is firm and breaks like glass. I have a curved one on a Colt Hbar and this one on a Daniel Defense 308. Both are awesome and I will buy again for any new builds
Fits perfectly and adjusts with an audible click. Very well made and the best part is there are no screws. So nothing will come loose…ever. The right side is a short leg so it stays out of the way of your trigger finger. If you need an ambi safety and can afford it, buy it.
I took a chance and spent the money and I have no regrets. It is everything you would expect a Trijicon to be. It sighted in quickly and all of my shooting buddies were fawning over the clarity. I picked up an ACOG with a green chevron and couldn’t be happier with it either. You won’t regret it if you buy it.
Overall this is a great rest. Very well thought out and adjustable. My trouble started when I let a new shooter use it to shoot my Ak. I have an VG-6 Epsilon on it and the concussion was enough to fracture the plastic rest on one side. I glued it back together and it broke with normal use again and again. Now I’m buying a bag.
Significant upgrade to the factory grip module. Hard to believe it was as inexpensive as it was given the WC reputation. FCU went right into place, no adjustments, filing or breaking out the dremel. The fit in the hand is very comfortable. It feels just as grippy as the factory grip with the stippling on the front and back strap. I do regret making the purchase before I discovered the Icarus aluminum grip modules. They are a whole other price category more in line with what you’d expect to pay for a WC aluminum grip. I will run this one as is and pick up a new FCU in the future to pair with an Icarus.
I’ve never had a two stage trigger before and really didn’t know what to expect. The first stage is just the creep but it’s a creep that has a distinct pull to it. Then you meet a wall and that wall breaks like a cheap candy cane. Less than a pound to break it and the reset is immediate. Will but more in the future I’m sure.
Takes out all the slop. If you have any movement between the upper and lower this will solve it. You will need to trim it to fit. The reviews that say it’s too tight, etc. didn’t read the instructions. If done right it works great.
