This tool is as advertised and seems to be well made and engineered. I would have given 5 stars if extra drill/tap guide bushings would have been supplied for the various size receiver base screws that would be encountered from different manufacturers such as metric sizes in foreign made manufacturers

I ordered this mount for my Vortex Strikfire II red dot which came with a mount but I was mounting it on Browning Maxus 1 using a Vent rib picatinney adapter. I wanted to reverse the cantilever mount to bring the optic closer to my eye but the mount that came on the Strikefire Ii did not move it as far towards my eye as I liked and it seemed a bit high so when I saw this mount’s description as to being lower from 40mm to 37mm and offset extra 1” I thought it would be perfect but that was not entirely accurate. I compared the CM305 mount to the one that came of the Strikefire II and indeed it was lower by the amount in description but it did NOT offset the optic as I thought it would as in its description by a additional 1”. The optic when mounted in the CM305 mount was in exactly the same position (in relation to the distance to the eye ) as the original mount only 3mm lower.

This has to be one of the best deals on the market. If but this same optic in the black version it will cost about $200. I put this OPMOD version on my Browning Maxus in the Shadow Grass camo pattern and it really looks great. I’m very impressed with the clarity and function of the red/green dot optic. I definitely would recommend especially at this very special price.

What a great bargain!! The OPMOD version was a great match for my Browning Maxus in “ Marsh Blade Grass shotgun. I’m really impressed by the clarity and function of this red dot. I definitely recommend this version especially as it is bargain priced below the same optic only in black.

Choke is the best I’ve tested in my 12 gauge Browning Maxus. I previously tested several other chokes on various brands of turkey specific shot shells and while some of the combinations were good I found this choke and combination of Winchester Long Beard number 5 shot was outstanding. Shot patterns out to 65 yards were extremely impressive and very consistent in density.
