Good quality but hard to line up properly on Ruger ranch rifle

Well made part but this flash hider has a section without slots that is supposed to line up with the bottom of the rifle so as to prevent dust being kicked up when firing prone. I could not get it to line up properly on a Ruger ranch rifle. Still works well if you are not concerned about shooting prone. It may line up better on other rifles such as ARs.

I used these on a Ruger range rifle to mount a Vortex 0 x 6 scope. They attach easily to the Picatinny rail. The scope alignment with the bore was good. First shot was in the black with not adjustment.
