Bought this for an ar10 build and it’s a very nice spring. I put a little white lithium grease on it as well just to quiet it down even further and it is pretty quiet for a standard spring. Really wanted to get a silent capture but those are considerably more expensive.

Bought this barrel to put on a budget rifle and these barrels are criminally under rated. These are as good as ballistic advantage and come in a much flashier package than the bubble wrap and plastic sleeve Ba ships their stuff in.

Bought this to assemble my ar10 upper whenever I finish sourcing parts. Didn’t notice that you can do both ar15 and ar10 uppers with this block. Bonus in my book. I have a Bev block and it works pretty good for ar15 but I needed a block for ar10. Wish I would’ve just gone this route from the start.

Magpul and lancer are the only mags worth buying and the magpul mags are substantially cheaper than the competition. No brainer. I have to use 10 round mags for deer season so this was also one of the only options outside of metal mags and since this gun is already going to be fairly heavy I’m looking to save weight where I can.

I bought these mags to deer hunting with because in Missouri you’re only allowed up to a 10 round mag. These mags fit nearly perfectly flush with the lower. The bottom plate and a little bit of the mag are all that stick out which is perfect. The 300BLK markings are a lot larger and easier to read than any pmag I’ve ever seen. I haven’t shot these yet so I can’t rate how they function yet. The only negatives I have to say about it are that I wish the mag was a little more see through because the smoked clear is darker than pictured but who cares and I wish they offered the bottom plate in different colors other than just FDE. I have an all black rifle so this is literally the only component that’s a different color.

I’m building a 300 blackout and was looking for a true slick side upper (no forward assist or brass deflector in particular) and was down to a handful of options that were $100 or less. The reviews for this upper seem to indicate it functions fine and I cannot attest to that as I literally just unwrapped it and am writing this review based on the appearance out of the package and test fit on my lower. I purchased a PSA lower on sale and picked this upper because PSA’s slick side upper seems to be perpetually “out of stock” so I went with the spikes over the Anderson based on reviews and my thinking was if I spend a little more than the Anderson I’ll stand a better chance of having the colors match. Unfortunately the spikes upper and PSA lower do not match well color wise which is what you get when you buy parts from different sources but I’d at least hoped the match would be a little better. I’m also docking it a couple stars because I noticed the following cosmetic issues: 1) there’s some small pitting in the anodize near the charging handle but it’s not super noticeable 2) there’s a couple spots on the bottom of the reciever that look like the anodize didn’t adhere to or was scratched off. Also, not a big deal because you can’t see it when the receivers are mated 3) at the very end of the threading for the barrel nur the threading is really bad. This is my biggest issue as it looks like if this portion of threading was anywhere other than where I happened to be lucky enough
