First to say, it is solid build. It definitely protect your rmr. But, for me, the reason I chose this one is because its transparent, which means I should be able to see the dot and use it without removing the cover. I can accept some down grade on the sight picture quality as long as it's still usable. Unfortunately, it is completely blurry and the dot is everywhere with this cover on. In another word, you can complete ignore the "transparent" portion of this product.
