Strike Industries hand stop

I loved the looks of this handstop and hoped I would like how it felt on my hand so I ordered it. I was glad I ordered this, it fit my hand perfectly and locked it into place nicely however, it wouldn't fit in the spot I needed because of my gas block. So I disassembled and took a sanding wheel to my gas block. Now it is in the perfect spot. My only gripe is it feels kinda cheap, meaning light and hollow on the inside. I wish they would make the same one out of aluminum. The handstop feels like it would definitely be the first thing to break in a combat situation

Looks good feels good must be Hollywood.Not sure if it actually mitigates gas or not. I need some more time to trst but it didn't seem to help much.

Sturdy. I was having issues with my poverty ponys take downs working themselves out while shooting, these fit tight and even if they do come loose they stop half way and require force to pull them the rest of the way.

I thought i got a dud because I closed the gas port screw all the way but the rigle was still cycling. Turns out the first screw is the jam screw the one behind it is the gas screw. The rifle cycled fine until I put a suppressor on it and bought another one for my wofe. Thats when I noticed the screws. Derp derp

ODIN Works Tunable Low Profile Gas Block
I purchased this with the Odin 10.5" barrel. I closed the gas port screw all the way for tuning but the rifle is still cycling normally and kicking casings out at 2-3 O-clock. It seems solid and looks nice but I saw another review where the guy found his set screw was too short. Going to look and see if I have a similar issue.

Very solid unit. Expensive though. I would hate to drop this. I find myself babying my LSS gen 2. Not saying it couldn't take the hit in the field but it looks so good I tend to treat it like a new porche. The adjustability on this is very nice. The only gripe is that with that with many set screws comes great responsibility. I recommend lock tight if you don't want to lose them.

Installed this on my sbr coupled with a vertical flat trigger and it feels aggressive and comfortable. I have large hands and I feel like I have perfect control of my rifle. I like this grip so much I am buying a second one for my MDT-LSS gen 2 precision rifle. I may buy a third for my medium range varmint AR.
