Factory Barrel

Written on Feb 13, 2024

Perfect fit for the P320 C slide to convert a .40 S&W to 9mm. Sig recommended a slide so it added to the conversion cost.
This barrel is the M18 type with the chamber indicator notch. Again, Sig indicated that notch does not affect function.

Perfect Upgrade

Written on Feb 06, 2024

Recently got a great deal on a P320 X Compact in .40 S&W and wanted to add the 9mm option to this gun. So I grabbed it and a new slide. This barrel does have the M17/M18 loaded chamber slot, but Sig armorers indicate it will not hurt the cycling.
Already put 200 rounds through it without a flaw.

Perfect for the G43 MOS

Written on Sep 25, 2023

Picked this up to replace a Crimson Trace RAD Micro that just wouldn’t hold zero. This was zeroed right out of the box and I qualified with it the day after I installed it. Shot a 300 and couldn’t be happier, after dropping the first round out of the X-ring. The optic window is larger than the CT RAD and the auto on-off and auto dim are adequate for me, even in the dark.

Perfect fit & value price

Quality at a great price. As an armorer, this mil-spec tube is a quality product. The more I use KAK products, the more I like them. This was married to a Daniel Defense adjustable buttstock, and while snug at first, a little lube got it moving flawlessly. I’m sure it was the ew buttstock and it’ll loosen with age and use. Nice buffer and well machined spring.

Daniel Defense Excellence

Exactly the quality and compatibility you expect from Daniel Defense. Easily installs on a KAK 6 position buffer tube kit. A bit snug at first, but a dab of Frog Lube and it’s good to go. The interchangeable convex shoulder pad is an awesome bonus. The price is right!

TLR-1 HL is a great light at the BEST price!

Written on Mar 26, 2015

Coming from law enforcement, a child of the 70s and cop of the 80s to present, all this "new fangled" technology is absolutely mind blowing! I still have my original 4-cell mag light, an early SL-20 Streamlight and have recently began updating all of my light sources to LED. We laughed at a fellow officer in the late 80s that tried to use an early "clip-on" for a mini-maglight at the range and fell off on his first round. I've come to rely heavily on Streamlight over the past 30+ years and the TLR-1 HL absolutely seals my confidence in Streamlight's engineering and design. I bought this for less than $115.00 with a coupon from OpticsPlanet.com and I couldn't be happier with the light or the deal! I only wonder how many bad guys got away with what would today would be considered inferior lighting? While some owners don't like the strobe, trust me, they work, it's a great feature. At this high a lumen, you can't think straight when it's flashing in your face. I showed my son (not on the gun of course)and he absolutely cannot look at the light source, it's that disorienting. It's an easy light to mount to any rail and it's aircraft aluminium design is solid. Some may not like the "shiny chrome ring" on the cap, but I hardly think it will give your position away or matter when your shining 630 lumens. I looked at a bunch of weapon-lights for my new Glock 30 Gen4, even at the Gl@@k weapon-light and was told by a Gl@@k rep to go with the Streamlight over their light or an

Most Comfortable IWB holster I have ever worn!

Written on Mar 18, 2015

I've been wearing IWB holsters for the better part of 31 years. I still have the first leather IWB I ever purchased in the 80's for a S&W Model 19, 2 1/2 inch revolver. But this IWB design is far better than any IWB I've worn since. I carry IWB frequently because of the nature of my profession. This IWB saves my suit jacket linings and furthermore, it conceals my weapon when I remove my jacket because of the "Kingtuk" design. If not for a handcuff case and spare mag holster on my left hip, you'd never know I was carrying. Don't let the large leather back pad scare you away like it did me at first. It adds to the comfort of this holster. It is a bit cumbersome to get on, I find it best to attach it with my trousers open and button up after it's in the pants. I even tuck the belt clips behind my belt to further conceal the holster. I was a bit concerned about retention, but the design assists the weapon come out with ease, while at the same time securely holds the weapon with the pressure of the back pad and belt. I wear one with a Glock 30 that is just as comfortable as a Glock 26/27 baby Glocks.

OPMOD Strikefire II on an 80% AR15

Written on Mar 18, 2015

I purchased this red dot scope on the advice of a local gun dealer and man was he right. The optics are superb and work well in several operating conditions. Coming from Law Enforcement, we always had the eoXXXX, which are excellent red dots, but pricey too. The cantilever mount seems more natural on the Vortex than other red dots I've used and is extremely comfortable while shooting. It took 5 rounds at 25 yards to sight in. After that, standing unsupported, I was dropping a 2" group at 25 yards with the Vortex and an AR15 I assembled in my garage. The 80% project and all of the FDE hardware was less than $800, which makes this an excellent addition at an excellent price. It co-witnessed with my BUIS (iron sights) on my flat top AR-15 rifle flawlessly. The flip top lens covers are an added bonus to this red dot scope, something eoXXXX charges extra. If I could post a picture I would, cause it makes the AR15 platform look very combat/tactical ready. The optional red dot/green dot are another plus that helps eye relief and overcome different lighting issues/conditions.

OPMOD Supremacy

Written on Nov 02, 2014

Nice piece of tactical equipment. Ease of operation makes it a must have with a set BUISs that generally will co-witness with the Strikefire II. Looks nice on the weapon, and has flip up lens covers built in. The mounting system included mounts easy to flat-top picatanny rails.
