So between Midwest Industries and Gearhead works, this is the only one with a gasket. Great. The gasket would be perfect if it wasn't cut a millimetre short between the top and bottom. It's not just the top though, its not wide enough either. I did positioned it to give it the best covered with the gasket provided, and with the whole unit there is still a significant crack all the way across the top and in one of the corners. This was very easy to see with my flashlight shining through the butt of the rifle. It's actually worse than the stock cover in performance. It's only benefit is adding a QD mount for single sling setup, which is really unnecessary. I also like the aluminum finish. However it does nothing but addw weight to my rifle. Im sorry but Im really disappointed with Manticore arms here. Better off just buying a thermal gasket paste and DIY.

I bought these for my scorpion evo. I like that they had multiple color options, but the rest of my accessories were black, so I ended up with black. My first time putting on Mlok, I've only had keymod and pic/1913. The fitment feels perfect. I should add I am got these for my aluminum HBindustries 6.84" hand guard. My hand guard felt naked before and too slick until I put these on. Love the length. The handstop was too smooth, but I bought these just for the side panels. If I was putting on an AR I would probably flip the handstop and use it as a back wall, and add a different hand stop up front.
