Great Optic

Defender series is my go to red dot. I have all 3 sizes on various guns and have never been disappointed. These optics are slightly taller on average to comparable optics which is what I would think most people want instead of wider windows.
Not to Spec

I tried to put in the first pin on the rear of the gun and the sear housing block assembly would wiggle inside the frame. Had to buy OEM pins. They fit perfectly with no movement.
A decent upgrade from the original

Well made conservative looking backplate. I would say it’s a bit overpriced for what it is so minus one star. It’s definitely better than the cheap plastic stock plate.
Reasonably priced extra tall riser

One of the only risers out there that is actually priced in this reality. Your options are slim sub $100 but this bad boy is a solid choice. It looks super fresh too. Buy one now.

Use the provided buffer pads

Great little brace. Very sturdy and sleek looking when adding the strike industries chin rest. Don’t listen to the complaints about the wobble. You need to use the provided buffer pads (there’s 4 different sizes). They stick on inside the locking mechanism. Vertically no movement after that.
